I dreamt of becoming an Educator as early as my memory can reach. I pursued that calling, earning a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood and Special Education in Brooklyn College, New York. I’ve also had an opportunity to study the Reggio Emilia approach in Reggio Emilia, Italy, which deeply influenced my teaching approach and inspired me to lead the classrooms according to the philosophy.
With over ten years of experience in play-based and project-based preschool settings with a variety of age groups and diverse communities, I have dedicated my career to creating meaningful, child-centered learning environments that build community and the feeling of home.
Light and Laughter Playhouse is the realization of my long-held dream — a nurturing space where children feel inspired, families feel connected, and school truly feels like home. I am passionate about building a warm, supportive community rooted in curiosity, creativity, and joy. Light and Laughter Playhouse is proudly inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy, honoring children as capable, curious learners and placing relationships and exploration at the heart of the educational experience.
